Description
40 watt Brooder element only to suit brooder needing an edison screw element for small numbers of chicks.Please read brooding fact sheets. Our guides for chick numbers for each brooder assumes that the ambient, or surrounding, temperature is no less than 15 degrees.
If you have a colder environment consider moving to the element above this, say 150w element, colder still move up in heat.
Watch your chicks behavior for signs of too little or too much heat in the radiant heat zone.
