This Chick Brooder Kit emits radiant heat only (no light) which is essential for chicks. Element shape may vary between lollipop (most common) or cone shaped, depending on what stock is available.
- Chick Brooding without light is more natural and also means the birds are less prone to feather peck

- Ensure the Chicks have plenty of space within your brooder pen area to access cooler areas away from the heat, this aids with growth.

** Note if using in a cold area (where you cannot guarantee that the temperature in the shed will not go below 15 degrees) and/or your brooder and chicks are in an uninsulated environment, you should consider moving to a higher wattage brooder.
