New Look Manual 4.5 litre Drinker

These bottle chick drinkers or waterers,referred to as Baby Bottles by some customers, are ideal for starting chicks. Each bottle is suitable for up to 50 chicks from day old and up. Often used in commercial broiler ( for up to 10 days) and breeder farms as a supplementary drinker alongside nipple lines. Bellsouth owned design and mould, so both the bottle and base are made in Australia. Can be custom made in different colours (volume orders required).Our latest chick drinker bottle with a 'window' along the side has had good feedback and we are sticking with that idea, they are also UV stabalised.

How long you use this drinker for raising your chicks depends on the chicks and their growth rate. Its design intends to make access easy for small chicks but access difficult for the same birds if they want a swim/drown or poo in the water. It is not intended as a drinker for adult birds. Some people use it as such but it is designed for chicks.

Note: not all manual drinkers are the same. The Bellsouth Chick drinker has higher side walls than most( than any we have seen) and chicks really find it hard to get into the water because of this design. Water stays cleaner for longer and the chicks stay dry. Try a Bellsouth New look drinker beside others and you will notice the difference. Good access, cleaner water, small brooder space requirements, decent amount of water, great stability. We don't think you will find a better bottle drinker for raising chicks.
