40kg Metal Feeder

The Metal 40kg Poultry Feeder - used to efficiently to feed broilers, chooks, hens, growing turkeys, ducks, guinea-fowl and pheasants.

• This Metal Poultry Feeder features fully adjustable feed level, sturdy construction, with deep pan for total feed control.
• Capacity 40 kg - 620 mm high x 500 mm diameter, Lip height 120mm.
• Suitable for 40-60 Adult birds per pan.
• For Layer flocks of more than 30 birds - suggest using 2 x 40kg Feeders in the Shed, one at each end.
• Larger capacity reduces the need for more frequent filling. 
• Inward rolled edges on the base act to reduce scratching and feed loss.
• Plastic Cover included - easily removable for quick filling.

**   When choosing a Chicken Feeder for layers it is better to have a round feeder rather than a trough, this stops dominant birds from controlling access to the feed.
